#7: Improving Health with Humor
I usually wake up early in the morning and take a walk in the park. I see several people, young and old, huddled in a group, laughing uncontrollably. In the beginning, it was a strange sight for me and I couldn’t understand why people would just laugh continuously, for no reason.
I actually thought that they had gone crazy, because they would simply throw their hands up in the air and roar with laughter, for at least an hour.
Later, I learnt that it was a therapy to reduce stress and I was amazed at that!
I realized that there were several benefits to laughter and I have always been a firm believer of laughing my relationship issues away, when things aren’t in my control.
