#5: How to go About Restoring Your Sense of Belonging
After you’ve been able to piece together your sense of self, the next step is in restoring balance to your sense of belonging. This can be a little trickier as our particular ‘need to belong’ is deeply embedded in our primal selves.
Never forget that you are not alone in your struggles. Reach out to close friends or family members and attempt to see them in person if at all possible. Surround yourself with fun-loving people that have the ability to make you laugh and enjoy where you’re at.
Take small steps when rebuilding your confidence and think positive thoughts to get through the emotional stress of love rejection.
