#4: Trust In The Dating World Of Lesbian Singles
Maybe it’s cyber-flirting.
Maybe it’s just innocent chatter.
Maybe you are afraid to commit.
And maybe you would like to commit, but find it difficult to put that much of yourself on the line with someone.
Lesbians are discriminated against, legally and socially. It is wrong, it should be changed, and the time is hopefully fast approaching where that will largely change—but this state of discrimination results in an added burden of trust in a lesbian relationship.
All of those are valid fears, and while they are fears to which every couple is susceptible, that’s still a fear that has to be conquered if you are to have a healthy relationship with your partner, let alone a ‘spicy’ one.
As such, as a lesbian single dating another lesbian single, you are going to want to be sure to know when to commit and, most importantly, how to keep the lines of communication open and do the most possible to avoid breaking your partner’s trust.
