#6: Talk Through The Diaphragm To Display Confidence
Let us assume that you are sitting in a seminar or a presentation. No matter how knowledgeable the speaker is, you will often enjoy such events if the speaker speaks in a confident voice. So how do I develop a confident voice, you ask? If you have ever heard experts talking about the usage of the diaphragm while talking, then you must understand the benefits too.
Generally, we tend to talk through our throat and though this is a natural habit for many of us, we need to practice the art of using the diaphragm to produce a thick, confident voice.
This doesn’t mean that you have to scream because you’ll end up with a hoarse throat that puts you in a difficult situation, but what this means is to use your tool box in order to speak clearly and confidently.
If you want to know more about how this works, refer to the above video, since Julian Treasure explains almost everything you need to know about the subject.
