#6: Cultivate Hobbies
At the age of 63, I had the urge to develop new hobbies since they allowed me to do something creative. I had always been interested in painting ever since I was a little girl, but never had the time to pursue it, so I began to inquire about local painting classes to begin a new hobby.
It was interesting and I amazingly felt liberated, as though I had accomplished something impossible, and I didn’t stop being enthusiastic about my new hobby even at my age because I believe that it’s these little things that give you real joy in life. As a bonus, I also made new friends at my painting classes. So, no matter how old you are, pursue your dreams and I bet that you’ll be happier than ever.
