#2: The Art of Flirting
Let’s assume that the person in question does, in fact, pass the eye test (in more ways than one, if you’re lucky!) and you decide he’s worth the effort. What’s more, while we’re on the subject of ‘eyes,’ now, as you move in to make your move, eye contact is extremely important, and you need to do your best to make it count if you’re going to have a chance of things working out.
One of the most important elements of eye contact is conveying confidence without coming across as a creepy staring stalker.
Remember—it’s OK to blink! That may seem like a silly reminder, but you’d be surprised how easy it can be to overlook the little things when concentrating on such a huge, emotionally-charged moment as meeting someone you like.
Eye contact can be soft, intense, playful, and always personal. What’s more, everything from arching an eyebrow to wrinkling your nose can have a huge impact on how the guy views and receives your eye contact.
